Full Time LE II Human Resources Manager
 
The full-time post of Human Resources manager is available immediately. Working hours will be 35 hours per week.
The successful candidate will require proven experience in HR, good teamwork and communication skills, initiative and attention to detail, and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. He/she must also be a self-starter, be proactive and able to deliver a high level of customer service. He/she must be fluent in written and spoken English.
 
The main duties will include:
 
Implementation of Local Staff terms and conditions of service
 
Implementation of UK Staff terms and conditions of service including arrival and departure of UK Staff,
 
Recruitment of Local Staff; maintaining Local Staff records; ensuring the appraisal process is being properly conducted; driving forward improvements in work standards, and line management of the HR Assistant
 
Embassy Training Liaison Officer for all staff. Creation and ownership of the Embassy Learning and Development Strategy
 
Lead on Investors in People (liP) policy
 
Knowledge of Local Labour Law would be desirable
 
The ideal candidate must have:
 
The ability to work with contacts and colleagues at all levels
 
Personal drive and the ability to be a self-starter, and strong teamwork skills to work well within Management Section and with the wider Embassy
 
Strong organisational, analytical and time management skills, with very good attention to detail
 
Flexible, resilient under pressure and decisive with a proven track record of delivering results to a high standard within tight deadlines
