Médecins Sans Frontières (OCP) is looking for Yemeni nationals to recruit in Aden governorate for the following position:
Logistic Assistant (Hospital)
Main Job Duties:
The Logistic Assistant is responsible for supporting the field logistician in providing technical support and supervision to the logistic team.
This includes among others:
• Supervising the daily logistic activities in MSF premises (Medical structures- Hospital) by ensuring a proper supply of water, fuel and all necessary items
• Providing maintenance and follow up of MSF premises by evaluating the needs and supervising minor rehabilitation
• Providing maintenance and follow up of MSF equipment like generators, vehicles and medical equipment
• Managing the supply to the different departments in MSF team: collecting orders and managing the logistic stock, in link with the purchasing activity
• Managing the logistic team, preparing all rosters for the logistic staff and ensuring that the logistic staff are working accordingly.
Qualification and Skill Requirements:
• Valid diploma degree and experience in related field.
• Good technical skills in one or several fields: maintenance, hygiene and sanitation, mechanics, electric.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Computer literate, particularly Word and Excel
• Good communication and organization skills.
• Excellent ability to work in a team.
• Knowledge/Interest for humanitarian work.
